In the Cave of Wonders a ragged young man has polished a tarnished lamp on his shirt trying to read the inscription and now there’s a genie in front of him.
It is not going well.
Normally you can expect to be granted three wishes by a grateful spirit released from a magical prison. But apparently a thousand years in another dimension has made this one a little on the vengeful side of cranky.
Wind whistles as the genie lifts him high in the air, dangling him miles above the desert.
He had wished for good health, to be richer than the Maharajah and for social elevation.
Now he just wishes he could get down.
